Throughout December and into the new year One KX is “over the moon” to announce that we will be working with leading astrophysicist and space scientist Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock to deliver a series of presentations in three Camden secondary schools. Maggie will lead a team of scientists and engineers to take our audiences through a tour of our universe and space technology touching on everything from Super Nova’s to Climate Change and whether or not Dr Who’s Tardis could actually travel through space and time. The project aims to reach over 500 local students and inspire them about the skies above them and consider new pathways into space science and engineering.
Maggie Aderin-Pocock is an English space scientist. She is a research fellow in UCL Department of Science and Technology Studies and an Honorary Research Associate in UCL Department of Physics and Astronomy.
